
Cricket Week 2026
Sunday 12th July – President's Day
Our 2026 Cricket Week kicks of with Presidents Day, and our first one hosted by Honorary President Shaun King. A special day celebrating the club and its members, featuring cricket, hospitality, and an opportunity to recognise the contribution of those who help make our club thrive. We have cricket throughout the day, as we host a Kwik Cricket Competition in the morning, while Womens 1st XI League Action takes place in the afternoon alongside a 6-Aside Tournament. Bouncy Castle will be available through the day, along with a Hog-Roast and refreshments.
Monday 13th July – NottinghamshireU13 Girls & Senior Cricket 100 Ball Semi-Finals
From 10.30 Nottinghamshire U13 Girls take on their Warwickshire counterparts during the day, while the evening sees our 100 Ball Competition Semi-Finals. Caythorpe, Plumtree, Hovveringham and Calverton are all in action.
Tuesday 14th July – Nottinghamshire Over 60s
Enjoy a competitive fixture featuring some of the county's most experienced players, as Nottinghamshire Over 60s host Lancashire Over 60s. The bar will be open through the day and food available in the evening.
Wednesday 15th July – Nottinghamshire Over 50s Double Header
We host a Double-header for Nottinghamshire Over 50s 1st and 2nd XI as they face Durhum and Yorkshire 2nd XI, respectively. A full day of quality cricket with the bar open and food available in the evening.
Thursday 16th July – Women's 100 Ball
While our U11 Juniors are also in action, the fron pitch will be celebrating our outstanding Women's team as they host Collingham in an exciting 100-ball match at Caythorpe. Join us in supporting the team and enjoying an entertaining evening of cricket showcasing the continued growth and success of women's cricket at the club.
Friday 17th July – 100 Ball Finals Day & Junior Training
While our famous Friday Night Junior Training continues, we will also host the final of our 100-ball competition, with the winners of Monday's semi-finals facing off for the title. It promises to be a fantastic evening of cricket, bringing together the club's youngest players and supporters to enjoy an exciting conclusion to the week's competition.
Saturday 18th July – Saturday League Cricket & Evening Party
Support our league teams during an important day of competitive cricket, with the 1st XI hosting Mansifled Hosiery Mills and the 3rd XI host West Bridgfordians. In the evening we invite all members, players, and supporters for an evening of celebration and entertainment in the clubhouse, with food and live music.
Sunday 19th July – MCC Match
Cricket Week concludes with the prestigious visit of the Marylebone Cricket Club (The MCC), one of the most iconic names in the game. The MCC are a custodian of cricket across the world and holder of the laws of the game, and spirit of cricket. This iconic fixture promises a memorable occasion for players, members, and supporters alike, providing a fitting finale to a fantastic week of cricket. We will have food vans available at the ground throughout the day alongside the bar being open.
